Carl is Claire's ex-husband. He is a gallery artist well known for filling pillow cases with dirt. Recently the pillow cases have had plants in the dirt. Aki is Dennis' wife of three years. She works as a personal trainer. Alex is Aki and Dennis' two-year-old son. Kat works at a day care near the Loony beach house.
